The Legend that is Albert Lee

The truth is that I knew very little about Albert Lee, but his gig at the Jersey Opera House last week was a part of his ongoing and gruelling tour in what is his 76th year, which speaks volumes.  Just looking at the dates and the venues spread around the world makes me feel tired.

Alison Moyet – Divine Intervention

Alison Moyet is still a force to be reckoned with. Her drive and passion about her music resulted in a powerful performance in Jersey last night which got fans to their feet and feeling the ages they were in 1984 when a solo Moyet divinely intervened in their music sphere.

Waking up to a Siberian blizzard yesterday morning as the Beast from... Continue Reading →

I saw Liverpool-born Rebecca Ferguson perform tonight at the Jersey Opera House.  I booked the best seats in the house months ago because I've been a big fan since I first saw Rebecca flourish as a performer on the X-Factor stage in 2010 when she was runner-up to Matt Cardle. Shortly after the X-Factor Rebecca was signed... Continue Reading →

STAGE STRUCK

Amy's performance as Nollie Fairtree singing Honey Bun bought the house down, much to Connie's pique.
