Stop The Slaughter!

Tessa has been an ardent follower of Cloud the wild mustang stallion and his family for quite some time She has a bee in her bonnet generally about the plight of the wild horses in the U.S.A. Well this bee increased to a veritable swarm on 24th March 2014.

Tessa heard that the Cloud Foundation received a tip that BLM (Bureau of Land Management in the U.S.A.) had used a helicopter to round up and remove 41 free-roaming horses from public land in northern Wyoming.

The BLM then turned these horses over to the Wyoming Livestock Board who sold the horses directly to the Canadian Bouvry Slaughterouse.

This was a taxpayer-funded roundup which the County Sheriff didn’t even know about. There was notice of sale after the horses were impounded, so no one had an opportunity to purchase any of the horses.

These beautiful animals are being slaughtered for dog food, which I won’t be eating and between us we have got to stop the slaughter!
