Creative Words Matter

‘We have lived, loved and learned long enough to amass great stories but we are frequently hesitant to write them down.’

Adrienne Dines

There’s not much chance of being hesitant about writing anything down after two hours in the company of author and creative writing coach, Adrienne Dines, who returned by public demand to the Jersey Art’s Centre last night at the start of her weekend workshop.

Wine fuelled
Woman cave after midnight… empty wine glass and calling it a night, or should I say early morning

I returned home with my head buzzing and lost all track of time, as I embarked on a wine-fuelled creative writing binge.

With a full six hours of creative stimulation ahead of us today, I’m not feeling quite as fresh as I should, having finally drifted off to sleep around 2a.m.

We may be missing Adrienne’s friend and associate, the doyenne of Creative Words Matter, Barbara Large, who couldn’t join us this weekend due to ill-health, but we know we are in for a creative roller-coaster ride.

Bring it on!
