Not a good night. I could have slept all the way through, but Cassie the Blog Dog got me up twice. Too much water before bedtime, bought on by finding an unsupervised packet of cheesy bites and scoffing the lot. Having finally got back to sleep, I then woke up early. Sod’s Law. Cassie however has no problem catching up on her sleep when I find it impossible.
Anyway, despite extreme tiredness, I must crack on with the novel. Captain Kirk would say “A little suffering is good for the soul” and an early start in time and space keeps the chapters flowing.
Cassie has been hounding me for sometime, to let her set up her own blog page and I think she has earned it. She just hasn’t got around to doing it yet, but she will. She is currently looking for a cartoonist to work with. I hope she finds one soon.
Storm Gertrude is heading towards the UK but hopefully, as we hold a southerly trajectory, she will not wreak too much havoc in our hemisphere as I boldly take my book characters where they have never been before. Am anticipating some emotional turbulence as we head towards Chapter 12.
