I have been awake for most of the night, but I am pleased to report that it was for all the best reasons!  No tossing, turning and staring blankly at the ceiling in frustration.  No. None of that.  Several hours of a great an outpouring of words that have been cluttering my thought process for weeks.  Positively orgasmic!

I am so grateful that the dastardly Writer’s Block is not currently affecting my output.  Having been blighted by this horrendous condition before, I always remain alert to it’s signs and symptoms such as mental fog, unresponsive fingers, incapable of stringing a sentence together etc, etc.

if I waited for perfection

During the night, I rescued my key characters from Chapter 10 and they have now resumed their lives and day to day turmoil of being as close as you can biologically get, but emotionally poles apart.  Today, I will catch up with the supporting members of the cast who have been twiddling their fingers since I left them dangling in Chapter 9.

Although, I don’t want to count my chickens just yet, as they are a way off hatching, not to mention coming up with the subtle twist of fate at the end but I feel like a climax is nigh.  Most importantly, I am back on track.

In the immortal words of my revered Captain Kirk “You either believe in yourself or you don’t”. I may have wavered over the years but right now, I do believe that I have what it takes to lead my dramatis personae to a subtle, if not explosive, ending.  Pow!
