My weekend Creative Writing Workshop with Barbara Large and Adrienne Dines at Jersey’s Arts Centre comes to an end today and I will be bereft. What an inspiration these ladies are when it comes to generating enthusiasm.

This Workshop came at the perfect time for me.  I have suitcases full of unfinished manuscripts which are gathering dust in the attic.  Many are rejections, which could be tweaked and some are just crying out for me to add the finishing touches.  I was wondering if I should throw them out, or if I should start resurrecting them?  There is so much already on paper and so much going on inside my head.  I know I need to be more disciplined.  Then, purely by chance I went on the Jersey Arts Centre’s website two weeks ago to look at their What’s On page  and stumbled upon this Workshop.  I am so glad I did!

Barbara Large and Adrienne Dines  host Workshops around the UK, passing on some of the tricks of their trade, as well as well as everything you need to know to get your words out of your head and on to paper and beyond! This morning, my enthusiasm is soaring and there is going to be a whole lot of editing going on over the next few months and what is more, I am going to enjoy doing it.
