GOW RANT – Particularly Grumpy Today

I get back from work grumpy and I read the news which makes me grumpier.

People can be so unnecessarily unkind and sometimes frankly they should keep their thoughts to themselves.  Apparently some Internet Trolls who clearly have nothing better to do with their time, suggested that Pink was putting on weight.  Photographed at a Cancer fund raiser on Saturday, certain Internet Nasties  had a go about Pink in a little black dress.  What a nerve!

She is a gorgeous rock star, they are stupid little trolls hiding behind their computer screens trying to make people miserable.

But you pathetic little dweebs have been trolling the wrong person, because Pink put you right.

“I can see that some of you are concerned about me from your comments about my weight,” she tweeted on Sunday to her haters. “You’re referring to the pictures of me from last night’s (Saturday) cancer benefit that I attended to support my dead friend Dr. Maggie DiNome. She was given the Duke Award for her tireless efforts and stellar contributions to the eradication of cancer. But unfortunately, my weight seems much more important to some of you.” Pink

Shame on you trolling dweebs.  Rock on P!nk!

On Sunday there was a completely bonkers mother who  dangled her 2 year old over a railing at the Cleveland zoo and shock, horror the child fell about 10 feet into a cheetah enclosure.

Fortunately the boy was not too badly hurt after his parents jumped into the enclosure to rescue him.  Even more fortunately, the cheetahs, who were clearly suffering from shock themselves, did not approach the toddler or his parents.  What on earth was his mother thinking of?

Anyway, from a Mother throwing her child into a cheetah den to a 65 year old German woman who already has 13 children and wants more.  Here she is … Annegret Raunigk

and yes you are quite right, she is pregnant again and is having quadruplets which are due to be born this summer.  Ms Raunigk hit the headlines 10 years ago, when she gave birth to her 13th child, Lelia, at the age of 55.

“At first, I only wanted one child.  Not all were planned. But then things happen. I’m not a planner but rather spontaneous. And children keep me young.”

We wish her well.
